It is unusual to spend specific and prolonged time with 3 different species – endangered wild dogs, wise elephants and playful dolphins  Specific species highlight different aspects about being human and a team. All these species survive because they work together as a team. African Wild Dogs or Painted Hunting Dogs as I prefer to call them are unique in the animal world in that they care for the weak, the injured. They take care of the pups and the nursing mum. When they hunt they are incredible strategists with each pack member playing its part.

Spending time with the gentle giants of the bush awaken awe and appreciation that we do not need to be victims, but masters of our own destiny. Not selfishly, but in connected companionship with a herd well adapted to the stimulation, sights and sounds of an ever changing environment.

To swim with dolphins is beyond description. To be accepted in their watery underworld, to glide in their sublime slipstream, enjoy their playful closeness and smiles and to feel their sonar communication soar through our souls is rejuvenating, uplifting and unforgettable.
